This precious girl is Sisi, an adorable soft coated terrier mix who came to us recently from Turkey. She was found at a shelter in Bursa, Turkey by one of our rescuer’s friends who scooped her up and saved her life. Sisi is approximately 1 1/2 years old and 40 lbs. 

Sisi is shy initially, but warms up pretty quickly and is sugar sweet. Once she’s comfortable she is a big snuggler on the couch and becomes quite playful. Sisi is a velcro girl and loves hanging out with her people and her doggie foster sibling. Having a doggie sibling in her forever home will also be beneficial to her. 

She is a moderate energy girl. She walks well on leash but is sensitive to new surroundings and noises. Sisi does well with routine and knowing what to expect, so walks in familiar areas on a daily basis would be beneficial for her. Once she’s done with her walk, Sisi is a couch potato and happy relaxing. 

After a day or so at her foster home, she began initiating play with the foster’s dog and also with her foster dad. She play bows and runs around very happily. Sisi is a great houseguest who sleeps through the night and takes herself out to potty when needed. Having access to a secure yard is important for her.
