This beautiful, regal girl is Balim. She came into rescue in Turkey when her owner had health problems and couldn’t care for her any longer. Balim translates to ‘honey’ in english, and is perfectly appropriate for this very special girl. She currently weights 62 lbs and is 1 1/2 years old.

Balim is a moderate energy girl. She likes being near humans, is gentle and playful, and interested in playing with the foster’s dog. She is a good natured pup, who is friendly and confident. Balim enjoys neighborhood walks and does great on leash walking next to her people.  She happily greets other dogs and people.

Balim has learned how fun it is to play ball, and loves to engage with her people. She is excited by food and treats and motivated to please, so training is easy and fun. Balim has a sweet and calm demeanor, and loves hanging out with her foster parents when they work from home. She is an excellent companion!
