We rescued mama Santana and her babies from Riverside shelter back in May. She gave birth to puppies in the shelter, but only two survived. Her babies are now 5 months old and happy and healthy (available for adoption too), so now it’s time to find mama the home she deserves.

Santana is the sweetest little girl. She is small, just over 10 pounds, but still loves her long walks. We don't know her mix, but our best guess would be some kind of Dachshund mix... She is super cuddly once comfortable, but does take a little while to warm up.

She loves other dogs and has lived with cats and done well, too. She is learning how much fun toys and bones are and is coming out of her shell more and more everyday.

Santana is currently being fostered in Redondo Beach, California area but can be adopted anywhere as long as you can come to SoCal and drive home
