One of the most precious pups you will ever meet is Joey, a 1 1/2 year old golden who came to us from abroad. After his former family developed allergies they surrendered him to our rescuer. You’d never know this little guy has had anything but a perfect life based on his personality. He is happy, playful, cuddly, and up for anything! 

Joey settled in quickly at his foster home and is thriving. On his list of favorite things there are 3 that top his list: eating, playing with other dogs, and getting attention from his humans. He is super treat/food motivated and eager to please so training him is easy.  He adores playing with this doggie foster sister, and would do best with another playful dog in his forever home. He loves all dogs and wants to be fast friends. Joey also loves getting attention from his people, and will nudge in for affection/cuddles when given the opportunity. 

Joey is a higher energy boy and needs daily exercise. He is currently getting approx 3 1/2-4 miles of walks a day. He is quite active and enjoys his walks and hikes. He does well on leash but will pull to do some squirrel/critter chasing. Joey would be an excellent adventure buddy. He also loves playing with toys…balls, and chew toys like antlers, kongs, and collagen chews. 

Joey has been a great houseguest at his foster home. He hasn’t had any potty accidents, and has left his fosters belongings intact. He is a velcro doggie, so his new humans should want a pup that is interested in staying close and getting lots of love. Overall Joey is a very easy going and easy to manage pup.
