Hi, I'm

Norah

,

I'd be happiest with

a loving family and a dog buddy

We rescued sweet Norah from the shelter where she was extremely shutdown. She was brought in as a ‘stray’ after animal control pulled her off the streets in the pouring rain.

Poor girl was so shut down coming from the shelter that the shelter worker had to carry her out to the car. So scared she wouldn’t walk. She was in bad shape, covered in matts. Since she has been in rescue, she has been slowly coming out of her shell and her sweet playful demeanor is coming through! Our vet estimated her age to be 6-7 years old.

She loves dogs and finds comfort in being near them. She absolutely loves her walks and does beautifully on a leash, loves wrestling with the resident golden and another younger-middle age confident dog is a must!  She will continue to thrive in a home with other dogs to help bring out her confidence.

Norah has definitely been mistreated by humans in her lifetime. She is weary of people and has taken a little while to be comfortable enough to accept love from her foster family.

She is slowly but surely beginning to act like a dog and learn that people and the world aren’t so scary after all. She will need a family that is patient and is willing to go slow with her initially.  She is going to continue to get better and better over time.

📍Norah is currently being fostered in Beaumont, California area but can be adopted anywhere as long as you can come to SoCal and drive home.
