Meet Bill, or more appropriately…Teddy Bear! This sweet 2 - 2 1/2 year old boy recently came to us from Turkey. He had a family when he was a puppy, but when their circumstances changed they surrendered him to a shelter. Fortunately our rescuer swooped in and saved him. His mom was a golden retriever, dad is unknown. Bill looks bigger than he is…he’s only 53 lbs of fluff and should be closer to 60 lbs which won’t be a problem as he absolutely loves food and is treat motivated. 

Bill is a sensitive, kind boy who will lean in for love. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. Bill enjoys his walks and will happily greet new people and dogs. Bill loves playing with toys and exploring new places. He is a lower to moderate energy boy. 

Bill can get excited and will stand on his hind legs to give you a Turkish hug, and has been caught counter surfing once or twice at his foster home…but is a quick learner and eager to please. His favorite activities are socializing with people and other dogs, and of course getting petted. 

Bill has been a wonderful guest at his foster home. He hasn’t had any potty accidents and hasn’t picked up anything inappropriate. He enjoys laying in the sun, going on social walks and having play dates with other dogs. Most of all he is a pretty chill boy who enjoys cuddling!
