Meet Cotton, a Pyrenees mix, rescued from the streets of Turkey. We believe Cotton is a little less than a year old. He is an outgoing, fun-loving dog who loves every dog and person he meets. He is smart and has already learned so much in his new life here in California.
Cotton lives to play with his foster brothers, and go on car rides and daily walks. As a young dog, he has plenty of energy, yet settles down nicely at bedtime. He may choose to snuggle with you on your bed, or on the floor with other dogs. He's great on the leash, curious and alert! He is a friendly, confident dog. He's nearly potty trained - he's never pooped in the house but could still have an occasional "liquid accident". Like any young dog, he loves to chew - frozen marrow bones are a favorite though he is a polite eater and doesn't bother his foster brothers. In his foster home, he was kenneled only a few times when no one could be home to supervise, and he didn't mind at all.
Cotton will be happiest with an active family with other dogs and humans. Due to his size, no small children. Cotton thinks the world is a big adventure and he's ready to explore!
Since he is from Turkey, his adoption fee is $600 to help offset the costs of getting him here safely to the United States.
