This pretty girl is Chanel, a 4 1/2 year old golden girl who came to us from abroad. One of our board members was traveling and spotted Chanel in a dirty, crowded shelter. Chanel’s life took a turn for the better that day, and she hasn’t looked back once!

Chanel gets along with everyone…cats, dogs, and all people. She is a moderate energy girl who enjoys her walks and outings with her family. She is a very loving girl with the sweetest heart. Chanel craves affection from her humans and will stay by your side as long as you’re petting her.

Chanel is learning to enjoy the finer things in life…such as rolling around in the grass and playing with toys. She enjoys a good game of tug and some doggie wrestling with her foster doggie sibling.

As Chanel settles in we have to remember everything is still very new, so some new sounds and sights (like her reflection in the mirror) will startle her. That has already began subsiding, and will only continue improving the longer she is in her home. Chanel would thrive with a moderate energy, balanced doggie sibling who can encourage her to play and be a mentor for her.
